Claim your naturopathic visits on your Canadian tax return!

Did you know you can claim naturopathic visits on your Canadian tax return? I am happy to tell you that it is true! You can list the visits on Line 330 and/or Line 331 of your tax return as naturopathic visits considered an eligible medical expense. For more information, please check out the Canadian Revenue Agency’s webpage on Line 330. Naturopaths are covered in 6 of the 13 provinces/territories including Ontario, Nova Scotia and BC. Please see your accountant for more information.

Do you have extended health insurance? Naturopathic medicine is often covered under extended health benefits. I am offering direct deposit with participating insurance companies.

Happy tax season!
